By creating an account, browsing or saving listings, posting a listing, or using messaging on RV Genius, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

What RV Genius is

RV Genius is an online marketplace for RV listings and buyer–seller messaging. We are not a broker, dealer, lender, insurer, escrow service, or payment processor. We are not a party to deals between users. Agreements, payments, inspections, and transfers happen between the people involved.

Your account

Keep your account information accurate and up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your login credentials. Do not share access with others.

Listings and content

You are responsible for your listing details, photos, and messages. Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or otherwise harmful. Listing information, profile display details, and media URLs may be visible to other users—use care when sharing contact or sensitive information.

By uploading listing photos or a profile image, you confirm you have the rights to that content and grant RV Genius a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the marketplace.

Messaging

Messaging is provided so buyers and sellers can talk about a listing. Removing a conversation from your inbox only affects your view; it does not guarantee the conversation is deleted for everyone involved.

Enforcement

We may remove content or suspend accounts when needed for policy violations, security issues, abuse, or legal compliance.

Disclaimer and liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RV Genius disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or from transactions between users.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we post updates.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information RV Genius processes, why we process it, and what choices you have.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the platform, this can include account data (email, account ID, and authentication or session data), profile data (name, phone, avatar), listing data (vehicle details, photos, contact details, and location fields), messaging content, saved listings, and technical or service logs needed to run and secure the product.

How we use it

We use this information to provide core features—sign-in, listings, favorites, and messaging—to keep the service reliable and secure, to prevent abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Sign-in providers and infrastructure

If you use social sign-in, authentication is handled by the provider you choose (for example, Google) through our authentication integrations. We use Supabase for database, authentication, storage, and real-time messaging delivery. We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the platform.

Photos and public visibility

Listing photos and profile images are stored at publicly accessible URLs so they can appear across the marketplace. Do not upload images you do not want publicly viewable.

Payments

RV Genius does not currently process payments in the app. If you buy or sell off-platform, that is at your own discretion and risk.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and database security policies. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information. For privacy requests, contact us through the support options available on the site.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and post the revised policy here.
